Grade 34CrAlNi7-10 steel, also known as 1.8550, is a special alloyed material with a high content of chromium, aluminium, and nickel.
Grade 34CrAlNi7-10, 1.8550 steel – Cr-Ni-Al nitriding steel for components requiring very high surface hardness and wear resistance.
It is used in the automotive industry and generally in engineering. Material suitable for cam discs, cams, gears, measuring instruments, components of injection pumps, valve spools, piston pins, etc.
This material is not suitable for welding. Therefore, it should not be used in welded structures.
