10CrMo9-10, 1.7380, 15313 – Chromium heat-resistant steel

Material 10CrMo9-10, 1.7380, 15313 is an alloy steel with a medium carbon content. It is commonly used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments and is heat-resistant. This material is specific in its composition, which includes admixtures of chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). These material elements provide excellent mechanical and chemical properties. The steel is corrosion-resistant in a steam environment up to a temperature of 590 °C. At pressures above 9.8 MPa, it resists hydrogen up to 500 °C. At lower pressures up to 600 °C.

Industrial production cannot do without special refractory steels. This heat-resistant steel contains, in addition to a medium amount of carbon, alloying elements such as chromium and molybdenum. These elements provide protection against corrosion while also offering excellent mechanical properties. This steel can withstand high temperatures of up to 500 or 600 degrees Celsius. ASTM A182 F22 steel is used for applications such as pressure vessels, piping and steam boilers, heat exchangers, reactors, automotive engines and exhausts.
